Finally, after months of secrecy and lying to my best friend, I’m finally able to post that we’re in Vegas!
We got here late Saturday night and we’re leaving Wednesday afternoon.
First trip… and I gotta say, it lives up to expectations.
And the reason we’re here ? (like you need a reason to go to Vegas?) Well, my best buddy, George, celebrated his 40th birthday today.
All he knew for weeks was he was going somewhere… and he sure didn’t know Tracey, Beth, Marc and I would show up to greet him. He was pleasantly surprised indeed.
Tonight we went for dinner and took a helicopter ride over the Vegas strip. While I didn’t get to drive the nice new EC130 (I have no idea why they call it an ‘Ecostar’…), we did all enjoy the short trip all the same.
Well, far too little time to be wasting it blogging about it!

Glad that you are having fun. What a huge/fun surprise. I hope that your friend who has the Stage 4 cancer is doing well.
