No, your browser didn’t just shit the bed… this is, in actual fact, my new theme for my blog.
OK, so it’s not much of a theme… which is exactly what I wanted to start with.
I figured I wanted to bone up on my CSS skills and what better way than to download a bare-bones WordPress theme and hack away at it.
So if things look messed up for any length of time… or the theme switches back to something less… broken… well, you know something went horribly wrong.

Well, so far I’ve managed to add a header graphic and styled up some of the CSS, which doesn’t look half bad so far. Alas, my gas tank is empty and I need sleep. [/UPDATE]

Hey, the site looks… white. But good for you for trying to do it alone. I know enough to always use someone else’s template…

@Shnewt – you know, I looked through ALOT of themes and nothing really appealed to me. The last theme I had for so long was giving me headaches when trying to implement some new widgets so I scrapped it.
