Just like that, winter has arrived in the territories.
Yesterday I awoke to falling snow and wind. Over the day we accumulated around 3 inches. By dinner time, the skies were clear and the temperature was falling.
This morning it is -18°C. It’s not forecast to rise above -5°C all week.
It’s a good thing I brought my winter coat and insulated coveralls.
It’s going to be a long, cold winter.

Yikes – I remember those days of long ago. Keep warm.
When is it not winter in the territories?
July and August is generally safe for warmth… generally.
No need to send the snowmobile suit yet? :>)
No, I’m going to be alright with what I have. The snowsuit will come up with me next tour.
Beautiful and sunny in Golden. Looks to be about 10C or so here. Man I miss the cold.
I’ll call Paul and let him know you’ll be needing your house back then.
