What a busy few days.
SunSwan and I picked up a few items at Ikea last week, built and installed them (one being a coat rack which needed wall mounting… oh yeah, the walls are concrete under the gyproc… lovely).
Yesterday we had my dad over for Thanksgiving dinner. Even after sending him home with a doggie-bag, we’ve still got lots of turkey and fixins left to eat over the next several days.
Today we bought some wall shelves at Rona and are busy installing them in the office to make room for a sofa bed we need so we can actually have someone stay overnight when visiting. One set of shelf rails is up and I’ve got to install the other set on Tracey’s side of the room. We’ve already sanded the wooden shelves. Now we’ve got to wait for a dry day in order to stain them. Hopefully that’ll be tomorrow.
Oh, and I convinced SunSwan that I needed a new cordless drill. The old one I’ve had for eons and is barely holding a charge these days… so I got me a new Makita 14.4 volt.

Only to find out that there is concrete in the wall on my side of the office…. Good thing for a new drill!
