Work, and other uninteresting things

I’m back in Norman Wells, NWT. I’ll be here until the second week of October… and I’m already questioning whether or not I’ve brought enough warm clothing. Seems I never learn.

Tuesday was Tracey’s birthday… and not just any birthday, but the big ’29′ (of course I’m not at liberty to say any other number than 29, so we’ll just go with it).

Now you might expect that such an event should be cause for a gift of substantial proportions… and I fully realized this. I was very tempted to get her the Battlestar Gallactica series on DVD as she is a bit of a freak and really likes that sci-fi stuff, but I felt it might be better to go ‘over-the-top’…

… so, I proposed…
