All dressed up and nowhere to go
Posted by Rotorboy under: Work .
Oh man am I bored…
I’m sitting in Kugluktuk, NU, on a long weekend, not working, in the fog and the rain, with pathetic internet access I have to share with the apprentice.
Thank dog for 4 hour daily mins.
So I’ve already watched 2 videos, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle and 21. I must say, I didn’t have high hopes for the Harold & Kumar video but it was surprisingly funny, albeit very low-brow humour. 21 was interesting but the plot was fairly predictable so I wouldn’t recommend it.
I’ve also started playing the campaigns from Age of Empires III: Asian Dynasties. I’ve never even looked at them before but, seeing as I have nothing but time on my hands until Tuesday, I may as well kill some time.
I wish I had something interesting to tell you, but it was a slow news week.
I miss my baby… oh, and Tracey too. ![]()

Thanks for throwing me in there….. I think I miss you too, can’t tell with all the projects I have all over the living room. Programing radio stations was surprisingly easy; we can now refer to either CBC radio anytime we want to!

Wow, CBC radio. Exactly what I paid over $800 to enjoy in 7.1 surround…. CBC.
Oh it don’t get no better than that!

Hi there Sunshine,
I’ve been sitting around Castlegar, then Grand Forks, for 9 days on spec. Flew 0.9 rev… Now I’m getting kinda bored too!!!
Enjoy the new stereo,
Dick

Hi Dick and Roger. I guess that I won’t tell you that I have flown 40 hours this month then. Have a good time up north gents. I didn’t even know that CBC still did radio. Mr. Mitten thought that you should know that La Biche now has its own radio station-its pretty terrible but its here.

Yeah, yeah, we get it Ryan… you’re flying your bag off… as always… but that’s all patch flying, Ryan. It doesn’t count.
Btw, Grand Forks is in BC, it ain’t up north.

It doesn’t count?!?! LOL. My bank account begs to differ. On a serious note though, it really is becoming time to learn something new. I am starting to get REALLY bored with the range work.
