24 Hours in Inuvik

I recorded a 24 hour time-lapse video of the ramp at Inuvik. Note how night time doesn’t really get ‘dark’ but rather ‘less bright’ than the daytime. I started in Ft. Simpson for 9 days, then took a long ranger up to Norman Wells for 3 days. I’m up in Inuvik now, which, I’m sure you’ll appreciate knowing, is at N 68° 18′ by W 133° 29′ (well, the airport is anyway). Let me tell ya…. it is damned expensive up here. [...]

Sooooo Bored….

I’m stuck up here in Ft. Simpson, NWT. What a ‘delightful’ place. 1 grocery store, 1 gas station and 2 restaurants… 1 of which is closed while the people are away on vacation. Whoo-frickin-hoo. And, to top it off, there is little flying. Oh, and no internet at the crew house here… lovely. This sucks.
