Slinging - A Pilot’s Perspective
Posted by Rotorboy under: Work .
If you don’t fly helicopters, you’ll probably be wondering what you’re looking at. This video shows what it’s like to long-line from the pilot’s view, down the vertical reference window of an A-Star.
The quality isn’t phenomenal, but it gives you an idea.

Looks like you are getting the hang of this long line thing ![]()
First few times almost feels like you are learning to fly again.
Have a good season.
