It’s Quiet… too quiet
Posted by Rotorboy under: Living it up .
Still sitting at home. I’ve been here since the 5th. There’s nothing going on in Ft. Mac and they’re fully booked with guys so I was told I wouldn’t be going back until Apr. 1st.
On one hand it’s nice to have time off. On the other, I already had all of January off. Now I have basically all of March off. It’s tough on the bank account having no flight pay or away from base pay coming in.
*sigh*
If only I had $15,000. I could have been well on my way to having my IFR rating.

Could you do your IFR training at the coast in the time off? Wayne did his so long ago that I don’t remember what it cost. Better buy a lotto ticket for tonight:)
Happy Easter!

Yeah Jean. That’s the plan. Come up with $15K and do the training while I’m still down in the lower mainland.

you’d buy crack. remember that time you found 50 bucks in an old jacket? it took us days to find you in that dumpster on hastings…

Shnewt, now that sounds like a story that needs a tellin’. Doesn’t even matter if its true-if its only the web it has to be true thats what I always say.

I’ve tried for two days to come up with something witty.
I give up.
