Log Homes and Pizza

SunSwan and I took in the loghome show at the Tradex in Abbotsford yesterday. Being a subscriber to Log Home Living Magazine, we had to go.

While we enjoyed the show, drooling over log home designs, custom wood furniture and the like, the show itself seemed fairly small. I had been to the show a couple of years ago and it seemed that there were more exhibitors than this year. None-the-less, it was good to go anyway.

After that, we ran a bunch or errands, including getting fixin’s for our homemade pizza contest. We often watch Iron Chef America so we thought it would be fun to each create our own pizzas and have you decide who’s pizza reigns supreme.

SunSwan’s Greek-ish pizza contained:

Tracey’s Greek-ish pizza

  • Home made pizza dough
  • Chorizo sausage
  • German salami
  • mushrooms
  • red onion
  • black olives
  • tomatoes
  • feta
  • mozzarella

Roger’s Meatfest pizza contained:

Roger’s Meatfest pizza

  • Ham sausage
  • German salami
  • mushrooms
  • red onion
  • tomatoes
  • artichoke hearts
  • feta
  • mozzarella
  • cheddar

So, dear reader, you are tasked with deciding “Who’s Pizza Reigns Supreme?”.

    Roger I just doubled your percentage! O.k. I was your second vote and 3rd total. Homemade pizza is the best.
    Danielle and I have already picked out our log home, we just have to decide where we want to build it.

    Yeah, we haven’t settled on a design for a log home (so many great ideas out there) but we definitely know we can’t afford it any time real soon!
